This site contains the archives of all seven issues of Great Basin, published from Winter 1996 to Spring 1998. Back issues are $2.50 each within the U.S. and $5 for international air mail. Although we will continue to honor requests for free sample copies, your help in defraying the costs will be appreciated. Our final December 1998 farewell issue is a special limited edition of "Christmas Comes to Hjalsen," a 24-page epic poem by Walter Van Tilburg Clark, which was first published in 1930 by the Clarks for friends and family. We reprinted this poem in a handsome edition with woodcuts by John Balkwill in conjunction with the Black Rock Press as a special holiday "thank you" to our friends and subscribers.
